No Ordinary Hero

In poetry on February 15, 2013 at 3:15 pm

When I wish,

You are my shooting star.

You are my runaway car.

I dare my eyes to close.

No hesitations.

No inhibitions.

You are my solid foundation.

I sing a tune,

You are my harmony.

You are serenity.

I aim for the highest notes.

My voice rings true.

I sing for you.

When I leap,

You are my safety sphere.

You are my rocketeer.

I gladly fall back.

I fall back in your arms.

Mindless Courage

Standing on edge, waiting for that dive.

Waiting for that one moment, where I can feel alive.

The bright blue waves crashing towards boulders

Give me no fear, I am ready to go under.

Shouting, at blue and open skies.

I challenge fate, the kind that defies.

No rules, no reservations.

No stopping, no considerations.

Toes perched, on a cliff.

Swinging arms, thrusting hips.

Down, down a spiral I will go.

I will enjoy the ride.

I will enjoy the show!
